• Ideally, upload your engraving template as a vector graphic in 1:1 size .
  
• Maintain a distance of at least 1 mm from the edge of the page for all elements to be engraved.
  
• Lines must be at least 0.5 mm thick.
  
• The distances between lines or shapes should be at least 1 mm.
  
• Colored or grey elements cannot be engraved (create files in black and white !).
  
• The font size must be at least 3 mm (including lowercase letters).
  
• Please use bold or semi-bold text.
  
• Avoid detailed or negative elements and designs
  
• Acceptable file formats: .tif, .jpg/.jpeg, .gif, .png, .pdf
  

Important:

The files you upload will not be automatically checked and approved for engraving.
If you want to ensure your file is suitable for the branding iron, we recommend the data check. The data check verifies whether your template meets our requirements:

• If everything is okay, you will receive a proof via email , and your branding iron will go directly into production.
  
• Should the template not be suitable, you will also receive a proof with notes on the "weaknesses".
  

You can then send us a revised file once , which will then be put into production without further review.
