Do you have questions about requirements, engraving templates, or your order?
No problem – we are happy to help you!
Requirements for your engraving file
For your branding iron to achieve optimal results, a few guidelines must be observed. Please note that our branding irons reach temperatures of 350 to 400°C. This can cause the stamp impression to "fill in" slightly. Small details or negative elements may then blur.
Therefore, keep your design as simple and clear as possible. Striking logos are ideal – for example, like the Deutsche Bank logo or similar minimalist designs. Please avoid detailed templates with small text, delicate lines, or many small elements, as these will be difficult to recognize later on.
Please also note:
- It is best to upload your engraving template as a vector graphic in 1:1 size
- Keep all elements to be engraved at least 1 mm away from the edge of the page
- Lines must be at least 0.5 mm thick
- Distances between lines or shapes should be at least 1 mm
- Colored or grey elements cannot be engraved (create files in black/white!)
- Text must be at least 3 mm tall (including lowercase letters)
- Please make text bold or semi-bold
- Avoid detailed or negative elements and designs
- Allowed file formats: .tif, .jpg/.jpeg, .gif, .png, .pdf
Important:
The files uploaded by you are not automatically checked and released directly for engraving.
If you want to make sure that your file is suitable for the branding iron, we recommend the data check. With the data check, we check whether your template meets our requirements:
- If everything is in order, you will receive a proof by e-mail and your branding iron will go directly into production.
- If the template is not suitable, you will also receive a proof with notes on the "weak points".
You can then send us a revised file once, which will then be taken into production without further checking.
